2nd INTERNATIONAL SEMINAR
“PARADIGM SHIFT IN COMMUNICATION TO SUPPORT
BATTLEFIELD MANAGEMENT SYSTEM”

Please refer to earlier email regarding the 2nd International Seminar “Paradigm Shift in Communication to support Battlefield Management Systems” being organised jointly by Confederation of Indian Industry and the Directorate General of Information Systems, Indian Army on 14 – 15 April 2009 at Hotel Taj Palace, Sardar Patel Marg, New Delhi.
The speakers at the conference will be experts from national and international companies, DRDO and the armed forces. The key speakers from the government / armed forces will include Chief of the Army Staff, General General Deepak Kapoor, PVSM, AVSM, SM, VSM, ADC (Chief Guest); Mr Vijay Singh, Defence Secretary, Ministry of Defence (Guest of Honour); Lt Gen Lt Gen N Thamburaj, SM, ADC , VIce Chief of Army Staff; Lt Gen Jasvir Singh, Director General Infantry; Lt Gen P Mohapatra, AVSM, Signals Officer-in- Chief; Lt Gen Dilip Bhardwaj, Director General Mechanised Forces; Dr R Sreehari Rao; Chief Controller R&D (ECS) & Outstanding Scientist , Defence Research & Development Organisation.
