Successful executives are people who want to get even better and are committed to their success as well as the success of their companies and organizations. They are seen as highly intelligent, high-integrity and persistent in achieving their goals. Intellectually, they realize that some leadership behaviors associated with their success in the past may not be the behaviors that are needed to achieve success in the future.
They respond well to getting ideas and suggestions for the future that are aimed at helping them achieve their goals. When they feel they are being encouraged and supported by the people around them, they can achieve long-range results very easily. If they feel they are being judged or manipulated, they will tend to become hostile to the process. Additional training must be given to assist them in learning, coaching and mentoring techniques.
To discuss and enable executives get better, CII is organising an Interactive Session with Dr Marshall Goldsmith (CV attached) who has been rated by Forbes as one of the five most-respected executive coaches in the world. The theme of the Session would be “Helping Successful Executives Get Even Better”
The session would be organized from 1100 hrs to 1600 hrs on 25 January 2008 at Gulmohar Hall, India Habitat Centre, Lodi Road, New Delhi – 110 003.
