“Showcasing Lean Practices: A Way to Sustained Business Benefits”
In keeping with the Confederation’s initiative to share Best Practices, CII-Delhi State Office is facilitating a “Manufacturing Excellence Mission” to select manufacturing units on Friday, 15 May 2009.
Facilities to be Visited
Minda Corporation Ltd, Noida: Focus on Technology to create World Class Products and believes in high efficiency, quality and productivity which are achieved by making flow of production single piece in assembly.
Samsung India Pvt Ltd, Noida*: Digital technology leader in global market, achieved a new milestone in terms of its CTV manufacturing operation in Noida.

OBJECTIVES
v The Mission is designed to provide an opportunity to professionals from various manufacturing units to interact directly with the trend setters who have maintained their highly competitive position within the market place in the time of economic distress by excelling in lean manufacturing.
v To provide first-hand exposure to various innovative and best practices that augment quality and productivity of manufacturing units.
v To identify aspects that would be relevant to their own organizations.
REGISTRATION DETAILS
Ø To defray organizational costs following delegate fee is being charged:
CII Member Companies: Rs. 3,000/- per participant
Non-Member Companies: Rs.4, 000/- per participant
Ø This fee includes local surface transport (A/C Luxury Coach) as well as a documentation kit for each participant. It does not include costs on account of hotel accommodation, travel etc.
Ø The companies being visited would be screening the final list of participants and reserve the right to admission to their respective factories. CII will not be responsible just in case the companies have reservations regarding certain nominations.
Ø A brief resume, a passport-size photograph of the participant and a brief company profile should accompany the nominations.
Ø As the number of participation is restricted, the participation is strictly on a first- come- first served basis. Last date of receiving nomination(s) is 8th May 2009
